The Yamaha HPH-MT8 studio monitor headphones combine detailed sound reproduction, precise stereo imaging, and a closed-back over-ear design for recording, mixing, and live monitoring. Custom 45mm dynamic drivers with CCAW voice coils and neodymium magnets deliver a 15Hz–28kHz frequency response.

Comfort and Isolation

Large ear pads with smooth protein-skin leather and low-resistance cushions provide isolation for critical listening and help limit sound leakage during recording. Three-dimensional arm pivots and adjustable sliders let you tailor the fit, while movable earcups support single-ear monitoring.

Built for Studio and Travel

Durable ABS housings, die-cast aluminum support arms, and a sweat-resistant headband are designed for regular professional use. The folding arm structure makes the headphones easier to pack into the included padded carrying bag.

Detachable Cables

Choose the included 3.0m straight cable or 1.2m coiled cable to suit your workspace. Gold-plated 3.5mm stereo connectivity and the threaded 6.3mm stereo adapter provide compatibility with headphone outputs on professional audio equipment.
