The DXS15MKII's 800-watt continuous Class D amplifier delivers rich, solid bass reinforcement with ample headroom to reproduce the dynamics and nuances of your music. Because the amplifier requires no active cooling, you can run the DXS15MKII at high volume levels for extended periods without distortion or thermal shutdown.

Stellar Sound Quality

Yamaha's proprietary D-XSUB DSP processing extends the low-frequency response of the DXS15MKII for maximum bass impact in larger rooms. The acoustically optimized wooden enclosure resists distortion at high output levels, maintaining sound quality even at extreme SPL. A 15" driver with a 2.5" voice coil ensures superb bass response across the full 40Hz–150Hz operating range.

Flexible Integration

Dual XLR inputs connect to your mixer, crossover, or main speaker throughputs, while parallel XLR outputs make it easy to add additional DXS subwoofers. The DXS15MKII features a switchable highpass filter on its outputs — so connected full-range powered speakers can dedicate their full output power to frequencies above the crossover point, delivering better projection and a more detailed soundstage. Selectable crossover points at 80, 100, and 120Hz give you precise system tuning flexibility.

Cardioid Mode & Stage-Ready Design

Built-in cardioid mode enables efficient onstage bass management by reducing rear-firing low frequencies — ideal for stage monitoring applications. The durable wooden bandpass enclosure includes M20 and 35mm pole socket options, making setup fast and flexible in any venue.
