Tech 21 Geddy Lee Amalgamation Signature Chorus Pedal

The Tech 21 Geddy Lee Amalgamation Signature Chorus is tailored specifically for bass and developed with input from Geddy Lee. Its Detune, Speed, Depth, and Level controls let you move from thick, layered voicings to animated modulation, while Deviate mode adds another voice for a more pronounced effect.

Use subtle detuning to add body to a bass part, dial in movement with Speed and Depth, or engage Deviate mode when a solo needs extra depth. The dedicated Level control lets you balance the pedal's output with your bypassed sound.

Controls

• Detune: Shifts the pitch of the choral voicing up or down. Increasing the control raises the pitch; decreasing it lowers the pitch. At the 12 o'clock position, there is no pitch shifting.
• Speed: Adjusts modulation speed from 0.2 Hz to 10 Hz.
• Depth: Adjusts modulation depth, from subtle movement to a pronounced wobble.
• Level: Adjusts overall output level to compensate for the volume drop that can occur when engaging a chorus pedal.

Chorus Without Modulation

With Speed and Depth at their minimum settings, the Detune control lets you create a chorus sound without modulation, adding thickness through pitch offset rather than a moving modulation effect.

Deviate Mode

Deviate mode changes the operation of the Detune control and adds an additional voicing for greater depth, creating an effect like three players performing together. Its more pronounced character is particularly useful for solos.
