Strymon Flint V2 Tremolo & Reverb
Pair vintage-inspired tremolo with classic reverb in one pedalboard-friendly package. Flint V2 offers three tremolo voices and three reverb types, with independent footswitches, flexible effect order, stereo connections, and MIDI control.
Dial in pulsing spring-reverb twang, warm tube-style tremolo, or slowly moving ambient textures. Use either effect on its own or combine them to shape the space and movement around your playing.

Three classic tremolo voices
- ’61 Harmonic Tremolo alternates low and high frequency emphasis for a hypnotic, gently phase-like pulse.
- ’63 Power Tube Tremolo recreates the smooth volume modulation and character of amplifier power-tube bias tremolo.
- ’65 Photocell Tremolo delivers a sharper-edged pulse inspired by mid-1960s photo-tremolo circuits.
- Intensity sets tremolo depth; Speed sets its rate. V2 extends the slow-speed range to nearly 1 Hz.
Three distinctive reverbs
- ’60s Spring Tank: modeled on a full-size two-spring tank found in vintage guitar amplifiers.
- ’70s Electronic Plate: a rich, smooth electronic reverb inspired by early digital designs.
- ’80s Hall Rack: modulated hall reverb inspired by late-1980s rack processors.
- Decay sets reverb time, Color adjusts brightness, and Mix blends dry and reverberated signals.
- ’70s and ’80s reverbs approach infinite decay at maximum settings.
Flexible routing and V2 features
- Choose reverb before tremolo or tremolo before reverb using the Effect Order Live Edit function; save the setting per preset.
- Adjustable reverb pre-delay, savable per preset.
- Separate ±3 dB boost/cut controls for tremolo and reverb.
- Full MIDI implementation via EXP/MIDI or USB-C, with 300 MIDI preset locations.
- Synchronize tremolo speed to MIDI Clock and save sync settings per preset.
- Discrete Class A JFET input circuit and ARM DSP processing.
- Selectable relay-switched true bypass or buffered bypass.
- Line-level input mode adds 10 dB of headroom for keyboards, synthesizers, active basses, and effects loops.
Connections and switching
- High-impedance TRS input with rear-panel Mono/Stereo switch. Stereo input requires a TRS adapter cable.
- Independent left and right TS outputs. Use Out L for mono.
- EXP/MIDI input supports a TRS expression pedal, MiniSwitch, MultiSwitch Plus, or TRS MIDI connection.
- USB-C for computer MIDI control and firmware updates.
- Dedicated Tremolo and Reverb On/Off footswitches.
