Ideal for guitar amps and other instruments like horns, the Nexadyne 5 offers clear highs, flat mids, and full low end.

 

The Nexadyne 5 is designed to support hanging mic setups for amps as well as traditional mounting via a mic clip. Mechanical isolation further reduces noise during recordings. With a highly compact side-address cartridge and a discreet low-profile design, the Nexadyne 5 is easy to position optimally while remaining largely unnoticed during performances. The Nexadyne 5 includes an A25E mic clip, a zippered bag, and a brass 3/8" thread adapter.

 

Revonic Dual-Engine Transducer Technology
Where typical dynamic microphones use a single transducer, the Revonic cartridge design calls for two. Using two transducers enables acoustic signal processing, allowing Shure to optimize EQ inside of the microphone cartridge.

 

Wiring both transducers out-of-phase cancels mechanical vibration. This removes self-noise as a factor that needs to be balanced as part of the acoustic signature of the microphone cartridge. As a result, Shure is free to precisely tune the acoustic network to have incredible polar pattern consistency across the frequency range, while precisely managing frequency response curves.
