Cleverly designed, the HotShot DM1 is a microphone signal splitter and mute switch combo. Hit the rugged footswitch, and you've muted your mic and redirected the signal to the stage monitors or intercom, making it easy to converse with musicians or technicians.

Simple, easy-to-use design

Using the HotShot DM1 is easy. Take any dynamic microphone and connect it to the input of the DM1, and the main output to your mixer. Run a second cable from the monitor out to feed a common intercom buss. Press the momentary footswitch, and the signal going to the main output is muted and redirected to your monitors. Now you can speak discretely with other band members or discuss a technical issue with the crew. As soon as you release the footswitch, the system reverts back to normal operation, eliminating the need for LED indicators or local powering.
