The Korg microKORG 2 is the evolution of one of the most iconic synthesizers in history. Building on the original's legendary status, it delivers a completely new sound engine, an expanded program library, a stunning 2.8" color display, a redesigned vocal processor with hard-tune and harmonizer, and a built-in loop recorder — all in the same compact, portable form factor that made the original a global standard.

Unparalleled User Experience

The iconic one-knob genre selection returns alongside five dedicated edit knobs and a new categorization system spanning Classic, Modern, and Future eras. The 2.8" color display offers animated parameter guides and a real-time oscilloscope view, keeping your workflow fast and visual.

New Synth Sounds

A genre-based Category and Bank selector gives instant access to a diverse range of sounds. Three Banks feature eight genre Categories, each with eight preset Programs, plus a 64-program User Bank. Virtual analog modeling with virtual patch functionality lets you go far beyond the presets with a graphical onscreen patching interface.

Newly Designed Vocal Processor

The microKORG 2 takes vocoding to the next level with industry-standard hard-tune pitch correction, a harmonizer for pitch-shifting and layering, plus reverb, delay, and additional effects on the vocal signal. Includes a dedicated gooseneck mic with metallic neck.

Inspiring Loop Recorder

Create backing tracks on the fly with the built-in loop recorder. Three dedicated buttons (Record, Play/Stop, Undo/Redo) make looping and overdubbing simple for any player. Pair it with the built-in arpeggiator to layer sounds and build full performances solo.

Enhanced Effects

Three independently switchable effect series with adjustable wet/dry ratios: 9 modulation types (including dynamics), 6 delay types, and reverb. Signal is routed through a 2-band parametric EQ for final shaping — no external mixer needed.

Natural Touch Mini Keyboard

37 mini keys with an adjusted black/white key distance ratio for easier chord playing. Box-style keys with a high-grade feel, optimized for fast phrases and glissandos. Octave shift button positioned for live performance convenience.

On-the-Go Performance
