Polyphony expanded from 80 to 120 voices. Internal programs grow from 809 to 1,075, covering multi-layered pianos, electric pianos, thick strings, EDM drum kits, and more. 128 MB of built-in expansion PCM memory supports optional sound libraries for further customization.

EDS-i Sound Engine with 134 Effects

The high-quality EDS-i (Enhanced Definition Synthesis-integrated) engine, inherited from Korg's professional synthesizer lineup, powers up to 7 simultaneous effects units (5 insert + 2 master). Choose from 134 effect types including delay, reverb, amp modeling, vintage effects, and a vocoder.

Pad Sampler

16 playable pads with up to 14 seconds of stereo sampling per pad. Record from the LINE IN jack, edit waveforms (start/end/loop points, normalize), resample internally, or load long audio files from SD card. Up to 4 pads can be triggered simultaneously.
