EFNOTE 3X Acoustic Designed Electronic Drum Set

The EFNOTE 3X electronic drum set pairs acoustic-style playing with mesh-head pads, multilayer drum sounds and a touchscreen sound module. Shape the tone of the kicks, snares, toms and cymbals with tuning, muffling and EQ, then play along with music streamed over Bluetooth or record into your DAW over USB.

Playing and sound

• 50 editable drum kits: 16 presets and 34 user kits.
• Mesh-head snare and tom pads with multi-trigger sensors; the snare has separate cross-stick and rimshot playing surfaces.
• ELISE sensing processor and multi-sensor pads, including a 7-sensor snare; cymbals offer 360° play/choke sensing.
• Metronome, rhythm trainer and virtual mixing controls.
• USB audio: 8-channel output at 48 kHz/24-bit and 2-channel input at 48 kHz/16-bit; Bluetooth audio input and Bluetooth MIDI in/out.

Drum and cymbal pads

• Kick EFD-K12P: 12 x 4 in., Black Oak-ish finish, head zone, multi sensor, low-rebound double-layer mesh with beater patch, TRS head connection and angle-adjustable kick-pedal attachment.
• Snare EFD-S12P: 12 x 4 in., Black Oak-ish finish, head/rim/side-rim zones, multi sensor, double-layer mesh, two TRS connections, monocoque shell and colored hoop rubber.
• Toms 1 and 2 EFD-T10P: 10 x 3.5 in.; toms 3 and 4 EFD-T12P: 12 x 4 in. Black Oak-ish finish, head/rim zones, multi sensor, double-layer mesh, TRS connection, monocoque shell, colored hoop rubber and suspended mounts.
• Hi-hat EFD-H14: 14 in. top/bottom, warm gray, bow/edge/cup pad with optical and 360° multi sensing, 6-pin connection, Tru-motion movement and weight simulation. Compatible with general hi-hat stands with a 12.7 mm (1/2 in.) hole. The EFNOTE 3X module does not support the hi-hat cup zone.
• Crashes 1 and 2 EFD-C16: 16 in., warm gray, bow/edge/cup zones, 360° sensing and choke, two TRS connections. The Crash 1 cup is not supported when Tom 4 is used.
• Ride EFD-C18: 18 in., warm gray, bow/edge/cup zones, 360° sensing and choke, two TRS connections.

Sound module EFD-3X

• Trigger interface: 3-zone snare, Crash 1/2 and ride; 2-zone toms 1–4, hi-hat and Crash 3; 1-zone kick. Crash 1/2 supports 3-zone operation using Tom 4/Crash 3 cables.
• Two unbalanced TS line outputs (+4 dBu), stereo mini-phone headphone output (320 mW + 320 mW at 32 Ω), and stereo mini-phone audio input (+2 dBu max).
• Micro-B USB 2.0 Hi-Speed (Mac/Windows ASIO) for USB audio and MIDI in/out; 5-pin DIN MIDI out.
• Acoustic drum/cymbal, percussion, eKick/eSnare and attack-element instruments; 50 user instrument library slots. Per-pad level, pan, tuning, muffling and 2-band EQ, eight ambience effects and pad layering.
• Module dimensions: 106 W x 172 D x 47 H mm; 700 g, excluding protrusions. DC 12 V power: 500 mA nominal / 800 mA maximum.

Stands, placement and included accessories

• Three Lambda tripods; snare stand for 12–14 in. drums with geared basket tilter, double-braced legs, 19.1 mm tube and 500–650 mm height range.
• Four tom-holder arms with geared L-rod tilters, 11.5 mm rods, 22.2 mm tubes and 550–900 mm height range.
• Three boom cymbal arms with gearless tilters, cable holders, 300 mm booms and 650–1250 mm height range.
• Sound-module arm and smartphone tray.
• Approximate kit footprint: 170 W x 110 D cm (5.6 x 3.6 ft), without drum throne.
