All the Vocal Tools You Need, Right on Your Pedalboard

The VE-500's stompbox design makes integration simple — plug your guitar into the instrument input to drive harmony, pitch, and vocoder functions, then use the Thru output to feed an unprocessed signal to your other pedals. Stereo XLR outputs send your processed vocal sounds directly to a PA mixer, stage monitor, or recording device.

Automatic Multi-Part Vocal Harmony via Guitar or MIDI

The VE-500's harmony engine detects the chords and key you play on guitar, generating smooth two- and three-part harmonies in real time as you sing. Multiple harmony modes handle complex key structures, and the engine can also be driven via MIDI — from a keyboard or DAW backing tracks — for pitch-perfect live harmonies.

Vocal FX That Impress

The Enhance section polishes your core tone with compressor, de-esser, and EQ. Two dedicated Reverb/Delay sections add everything from subtle coloration to lush ambience. Four independent FX engines cover chorus, flanger, tremolo, distortion, radio voice, ring mod, slicer, filtering, and more — with flexible routing to process live and harmonized vocals together or separately.

Built-In Vocoder

Derived from Boss's VO-1 Vocoder pedal, the VE-500's vocoder transforms your guitar's tone with electronic voices and modern colors as you sing into the mic. It can also replicate traditional talk box sounds — classic "talking lead guitar" tones without the tube and rig.

Automatic Pitch Correction

The dedicated pitch correction section offers transparent pitch stabilization for subtle tuning support, or dramatic modes for hard pitch correction, electronic tonalities, and robot-voice effects — guided via guitar or MIDI just like the harmony engine.

Total Performance Control

99 user patch memories store complete setups for instant recall. Three assignable panel knobs provide on-the-fly parameter control. Three integrated footswitches handle patch selection, effects on/off, harmony, looper, and more. Expand further with external footswitches, an expression pedal, or MIDI. Editor/librarian software (Mac/Windows) available via USB.
