Flexible, Real-Time Control

Eight footswitches with smooth, quiet operation and a redesigned expression pedal with integrated toe switch give you hands-on control at all times. Use Memory mode to call up complete patch setups, or switch to Manual mode for direct on/off control of each effect category within a patch. Footswitch LEDs light in different colors for quick identification on stage, with the option to set a fixed color per mode.

The ME-90 puts a massive library of Boss effects at your command across seven simultaneous categories — all derived from the flagship GT-1000. Overdrives, distortions, pitch/mod effects, delays, and high-quality reverbs are all here, plus 11 dedicated Pedal FX, a looper, acoustic simulation, and down tuning. 60 effect types onboard, with access to 20+ more via Boss Tone Studio. A send/return loop supports external pedals with saveable on/off status per patch, placeable before or after amp models in the signal chain.

The ME-90 is lighter than its predecessor while maintaining Boss's rock-solid durability. Power via four AA batteries or an optional AC adapter (sold separately). A rear-panel switch instantly optimizes outputs for a guitar amp or full-range PA system. USB-C enables Boss Tone Studio communication and use as a computer audio interface for music production software.
